IF YOU RECEIVE YOUR MEDICAID REMITTANCE advice electronically, then RAMedicaid is the perfect solution for printing the information contained in the remit file. This program is effective, efficient, and easy to use. This program allows you to eliminate the need to store paper remits. You have access to all the data right from the comfort of your desk, through your personal computer.

RAMedicaid is very versatile. You may use it to print Medicaid remits that are in the old Medicaid proprietary format, or you may use it to print Medicaid remits in the HIPAA compliant 835 format.

SEARCH OPTIONS:

RAMedicaid allows you to search for an individual account/claim using one of four different search criteria:

1. Using the Patient’s Last Name.
2. Using the Patient’s Claim/Account number
3. Using the Patient’s Medicaid Identification number
4. Using the Patient’s Medical Record number (if you included in on the original claim).

The search displays all of the individual accounts that match your search criteria. For example, if you search on the last name of Smith, RAMedicaid will list all the Smiths in the file.

REPORT OPTIONS:

There are five basic reports:

1. The ALL CLAIMS Report. This report lists the entire file.

2. ALL CLAIMS where PAID AMOUNT is > (greater than) $0.00 (These are Paid Claims)

3. ALL CLAIMS where PAID AMOUNT is < (less than) $0.00 (These are Adj. Claims)

4. ALL CLAIMS where PAID AMOUNT is = (equal to) $0.00 (These are claims that have been processed by Medicaid and there are no additional monies due. For example, if the primary payment had been greater than what Medicaid would have paid.)

5. Denied Claims (Claims Status = 4)

When printing any of the above reports, the program will allow you to select printing claims for all providers, or to print only those claims for a specific provider.
